The light looks great in our foyer. Very happy with it!

Simple well made light. Glass is nice quality. The metal is a true black and not shiny but not so matte that you can't clean it. I think it would work in a number of areas in your home. The packing was very secure and arrived in great shape. I have not had it installed but it looks straightforward. This comes at every price point and I think this is a good value .

I am a somewhat handy person, but definitely not an electrician by any means. If the ceiling boxes hadn't also needed replaced, I could have installed the three I purchased by myself in an hour. (Thirty minutes to make several mistakes with the first one, and thirty minutes to do the other two.) A really handy person could have it installed in probably five minutes. I used these to replace dim, ugly boob lights in our hallway. I was concerned that the single bulb wouldn't be bright enough, but the semi-flush nature of the light maximizes brightness. It gives off a soft diffuse light, which I like. They are cute and add some character to an otherwise cookie-cutter condo. One thing I would mention is that the wire nuts included are the small ones so if your light is a link in a circuit (you have two of each wire running to the fixture) you might need larger wire nuts.

Lovely. Used in our mud room where we've accented w black knobs. Use a Frosted Bulb for a soft enchanted look. Service on phone was terrific! Nice price also.

We purchased 2 of these fixtures to go in our 1925 home - perfect compliment to the style,
