The rod pouches at the top of the curtain are in a tie design but still easily slip through when hanging. The curtains are very well made and the stitching appears to be well done. I would recommend

The red fabric is a good deep red and the material gives it a little decoration with little lacy like bows at the top. They are great over blinds or other curtains as they are a little thin and don't block out as much light as other curtains I have used.
