Way too many functions to be considered a beginner’s camera , I can’t even get pictures to the SD card .. I’m a little impatient , but this is a ridiculous amount of functions that are not user friendly. Definitely a regrettable purchase for me that I wouldn’t recommend.
I bought this camera as a beginner's camera. I'm pleased with its performance and its good for what I use it for. I have bought a few lenses 24 mm pancake lens and 70-300 telephoto lens. I plan on buying a 50 mm lens soon and taking a class soon.
Auto focus is completely useless. Couldn't even accidentally take an in focus photo.
I love my camera. So many people are going to.phones, although pretty good in my opinion the camera gives you so many more options
Amazing starter camera! I'm rating it a 4 because it's a bit disappointing that I'm unable to transfer or download the videos I took in Movie Mode to my smartphone. Other than that, this camera is awesome, and it's taught me a lot- I love it!

3 years and I still believe its a great starter when learning the ins and outs of a camera
Just bought the Rebel T7 , this is my 3rd canon camera that I have owned . This camera is nice , but the battery pack that came with it is terrible . The life of the battery is very short . I have never had this bad of a battery in my previous cameras . Maybe I got a “ bad “ battery , if so , maybe Canon will replace this current battery with a new one .
Love this camera. Great beginners camera. I'm learning how to use it. Looking forward to taking better pictures on my road trips and vacations.
