It gives temperature readings in about 3-5 seconds which is fast enough when grilling, smoking, and everyday cooking. The backlit display is easy to read, especially cooking outdoors at night, and the foldable probe makes it compact and safe to store. The waterproof design is a nice bonus because cleanup is simple. The probe is somewhat short for very large cuts of meat. I would definitely recommend though

We grill in the dark A LOT. The light makes it so we know we aren’t over or under cooking our food. I like that it folds up so we can take it on camping trips with us. It’s super light and takes up hardly any space. This is a must have tool for summer grilling.

This is my second ThermoPro Digital Thermometer in eight years! They LAST. This new one has a magnet and I hang it right on the side of my oven so it is always ready. Love it! And, it's instant read!
