I normally don't leave reviews, even though I read other people's reviews all the time. However, I felt compelled to leave a review for this sunscreen because I noticed so many negative reviews, and many seem to be from customers who preferred the previous formula. I can't speak to the old formula because I never used it. I can only review the product that is currently being sold, and I have to say—I love it! I've tried several sunscreens and even researched Consumer Reports recommendations to find some of the best options for my face. I've tried highly rated brands, but this is the sunscreen that works best for me. I'm over 50 and have mature, medium-deep skin that is also acne-prone, so finding the right facial sunscreen can be challenging. Many sunscreens leave my face looking shiny, which I don't like. This one doesn't. Even better, it doesn't leave a white cast on my complexion and has not caused me to break out. I even gave some to my daughter to try, and she agreed that it didn't cause her to break out either. For reference, I typically wear this sunscreen without foundation or other face makeup. I start with a clean face and apply MAC Hyper Real Eye Serum and Hyper Real SkinCanvas Balm. Once those products have absorbed and dried down, I apply the sunscreen. I finish with a little MAC Yum Yum blush on my cheeks and Yum Yum lipstick, and that's it. If you're reading the negative reviews and wondering whether you should try this sunscreen, I recommend judging the current formula on its own. For my mature, medium-deep, acne-prone skin, it has been a great find.

I love the formula of the new MAC Sheer Lipstick. It's incredibly hydrating and feels more like a lip balm than a lipstick. The sheer color looks beautiful, especially paired with a lip liner. Since it's so moisturizing, it does need frequent reapplication. On me, it lasted about 2 hours without eating or drinking. When I first tried this lipstick I was quite suprised. It reminds me of Clinique's black honey sheer lipstick. It has a natural look but it is still buildable. It's not super pigmented immediately but that is the whole point it's supposed to have a natural your lips but better. I've been using it on a daily basis. It lasts quite a while without reapplying. It doesn't come off when drinking from a cup, water bottle or straw. It matches the look and color online. It's lightweight and it does not crease. What happened to MAC? I have a bunch of these as well as long discontinued shades of pigments/glitters and I am beyond bored with the shade range. Where are is fun in the artistry lately? These colors are dull, the amount is tiny in comparison to what MAC used to sell...It's embarassing that COLOR is non exsitant. We are BORED with the cleangirl look. We need colorback in our lives. I am absolutely in love with this MAC lipstick! The shade is a beautiful, versatile nude that is perfect for everyday wear and complements my skin tone beautifully.
