I bought this for my son who is a soccer coach. This jacket is lightweight, with breathability. Even though it has ventilation, it holds the body heat in 1downpours during games. The construction of this ergonomically designed jacket fits extremely well and is proving it has been crafted with durability and comfort in mind.

Love the front pocket addition. My previous jacket, with pit zips, didn't have one. The fit is slightly small. I haven't used it yet but it seems well made.
Perfect rain jack for east texas. Doesn't get too hot and keep you dry.
I LOVE this rain jacket!! I live on Coastal Alabama and we get a lot of rain!!! Fits very well, lots of pockets and not heavy in this highly humid location. I am actually thinking of getting another one :-) (in a different color)
Since it rains a lot where I live, I use the jacket over my regular cloths, it is super usfull to have one like this, fits perfect, the color that I bought, it is super easy to match with any type of cloths, I would definitely recommend the Alta Vista Jacket
Took it on a cold rainy day at Yosemite and got soaked. It doesn't withstand heavy rain.
All the features you look for in a rain jacket. Lightweight, breathable, seam sealed, pit zips, minimal Velcro. Other brands don't check off enough boxes! Runs a little tight in the shoulders so if you layer it or have broad shoulders you may want to go up a size. I'm 5'11", just under 200lbs and have slightly broad shoulders. XL is roomy enough to layer if needed but also not too big to wear in Summer/Spring with a single layer if you don't mind a relaxed fit style. The Large was too tight on shoulders and too short in the sleeves for movement.
