I wanted a smaller, mirror-less camera with RAW capabilities I could just grab and throw in the car or a long walk. I previously owned a 6D and currently own an R8. For the price, it was almost a no-brainer. The camera has meet my expecations and then some. The R100 uses the same battery as my R8; another plus.

The EOS R100 is a major step-up for me, from consumer to entry-level professional grade. So far, it's crawl-walk-run with the deep feature set; but I'm excited at the doors this is opening for me. The interface is very well arranged and thought-out; the only limitation being the energy put into tasting the experience of putting the camera through its paces. I'm totally stoked!

Keep hearing, you don’t want the R100. Get the R50, or full frame. But this thing takes beautiful pictures and with the price. It was a no brainer.

Bought this for my wife to get started in photography as our family grows. I was looking for a cost effective entry point into Canon’s eco-system and this r100 is perfect. The device was practically new beyond the box it came in and included all the accessories to get up and running. Would and will highly recommend!!

We very like our new camera. It is beginner level, but it is more than enough for us. Photos are great! There is no video stabilization which is fine since we got it for pictures only

I'd been taking a friend out and letting her shoot my Rebel T6 and my EOS R7, and I decided that it was time she had her own camera. A lot of reviews criticize the lack of features vs. the R50 and R10, but the simplicity makes it a perfect beginner camera. Having less to learn about the camera leaves her more time and energy to develop her photography skills. I became a photographer with my Rebel, and this is truly the mirrorless Rebel. She loves it.

My camera stopped working, and I’ve had no success getting Canon to resolve the issue. I never received a receipt for the purchase, despite reaching out to Canon twice. They claim to have sent it, but it never arrives—oddly enough, their service review emails come through just fine. The lens aperture constantly opens and closes, and now, when looking through the viewfinder, the display appears as if it's in infrared mode. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I regret this purchase entirely. If you're considering a refurbished Canon camera, I strongly recommend opting for a new one instead.
