I live in an apartment with lots of west facing windows, and no central air. My rooms get so hot in the afternoon, and this unit has been a lifesaver. I have one in my bedroom and one in my living room, and they keep the rooms so comfortable. They were easy to install, look nice, are quiet while running, and were very reasonably priced.

This ac unit works so well, has super cool air, which is extremely useful with these hot days! Its not super heavy so I can easily move it from room to room if I need to. I love that it comes with a remote so I don’t have to get up and turn it on. It cools my entire home.
I bought this for my kitchen area. I have a bar area that's south facing, then into my kitchen and it gets sun all day, by 3 or 4 it was almost intolerable to be in the kitchen. I've tried reflective window coverings, a window fan and now this and I should have done this first! I turn it on a few minutes before I need to be in the kitchen to cook and it's night and day difference. I can cook without sweating. It cools down the kitchen very quickly and my oven or this 100+ degree heat is no match for this unit. It blows pretty cold so we don't leave it on all day. I turn it on when we're in the kitchen, and for about 30 minutes before bed just to help cool the top floor down. It isn't too loud or obnoxious like older units. If you're looking for an affordable unit that does the job, this is the one.
I am enjoying this air conditioner very much. I really like that it came with a remote control.
