This is a very good looking lampshade, a nice dark blackwhen the light is out. And it lets a lot of light pass through when the lamp is on which I really appreciate.This lampshade was perfect for me except it was a little too small so sadly, I'm returning it
All in all we are satisfied. The one aspect we were surprised by was that this shade lets more light through than the one we had before. But it's not a big deal.
