I just had my lamp. delivered today and I could not be more pleased. It was even more than I expected. I love the size and the decoration on the lamp. It was packed expertly with everything protected and enclosed. I could not be more happier with this purchase.
Unusually striking design, but somehow not showy. Quiet, pretty, seems well-made. Solid weight---not too heavy for normal furniture, but heavy enough that a little cat brushing against it would not cause it to fall. Takes a 150 bulb, i.e., ideal for reading (actual physical) books, if any other people still do this. When I took it out of the box, I thought at first that it was black. It is not. It is a deep brown, which is just what I had wanted. It goes perfectly on my antique chestnut side-table.
Study, easy to assemble, and the shade is large. Very impressive look of pottery base for a great price. It is black and tan, and 32 inches tall.

This lamp is gorgeous sitting on a round table in a corner area of my living room that needed something for interest.The design of the lamp mimics the design in my rug and the black of the lamp is a perfect accent to go with my black marble table tops & black matted picture. I love the texture of this lamp and the lamp shade.
