The little star lights up just like in the movie. It comes with accessories to dress up the little star as well. My daughter has really enjoyed playing with It.

The motion activated light and sound created a interesting moment with my two boys playing catch with it to “make the star fly” but it has a switch on the back for when the sounds get to be too much. It survived my children so I think it would survive all but the most destructive of play…

This character makes noises in addition to lighting up. At first my daughter enjoyed applying the accessories but then was quickly bored. This toy has sat on the counter untouched ever since. I would recommend only to kids that REALLY love this Star character.
