I have been using the mount to convert my EF 75-300mm lens for my R50 body, and it's been a seamless transition. Can't recommend enough!!! Worth the money.

A mount adapter that permits long-tern Canon camera users to use those EF lens's, some that are excellent and quite expensive, with your new R5 camera body. A simple job to do, and it seems to work OK with my EF lens, but my nice Tamron ultra-wide angle lens is not usable due to strong vignetting.

I was gifted an R7 to replace my 77D. I don't have the funds currently to buy new lenses so I bought the adapter so that I could use what I have. I haven't used it much, shot some wildlife photos while on vacation. It worked fine for that.
