I really wanted to love these shades because the pleated empire shape is beautiful and looks much more high-end and traditional than a standard drum shade. The quality seems nice, and the pleating is well done. However, I don't think the color is accurately represented online. These are advertised as "off-white linen," but in person they read much warmer and darker-more of an oatmeal, flax, or light beige tone than off-white. In my room they looked noticeably darker than expected. If you're looking for a warm natural linen color, you may love them. If you're hoping for a true off-white, ivory, or cream shade, just be aware that they may appear darker and warmer than the website photos suggest. Overall, beautiful shape and quality, but I'm returning them because the color wasn't what I was expecting.

These were the best lamp shades I have had in a long time. My uncle was an interior decorator years ago and we always had top notch lamp shades. Now you can only purchase cheap ones in the stores and they look that way--cheap. I am impressed with these. Also impressed with the packaging. First class all the way. I will order again.
