The placemats were a nice size and good color. The problem was that whoever delivered them folded the package in half to fit into my mailbox. The placemats therefore had a fold mark down the middle of them that would not straighten out. Very disappointing!
I am returning, just received today! Quality looks ok but unfortunately expensive when I purchased now on sale but not the issue! There are 2 packages of 4. Each have four mats with a tight fitting with plastic inserts to hold four together. Carefully cut them but left a mark on one. Can not get the 4 crease like indentations out by trying to smooth them out. Did not bother opening the plastic holding the other 4. Suggestion don’t use anything to hold them together. Because you place them in a closed bag anyway. Could not adjust photo small enough to show the imperfections. Thank you. Ruth

They’re water proof so you don’t need to worry about messes! They are thin so I’m not sure how long they’re hold up for but so far they’re great :D

We just love how simple but very elegant. They are very sturdy and nicely woven together. We love having them to keep the counter clean and they are easy to wipe down also.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these placemats. Depending on the light, they look blue in dim rooms, and gray in brighter rooms. They are striped and lightweight. I think if you spill anything on them, they should easily wipe off. I’m not sure about them staining though. They also have a little bit of texture to them, which looks appealing. I can’t wait to use these the next time we have a dinner party with our friends.
