Either I’m getting smaller or jeans getting bigger. I had to go down a size to get proper fit. I am not crazy about how much stretch there is in this Jean. I like the brand but just not these. Returned.
I have purchased four pairs of these jeans and I love them! Two different styles and they are all perfect! NYDJ are definitely the best jeans I have had in a while.

Purchased two pairs of these NYDJ Plus Marilyn Straight Jeans and will be returning both. I normally wear an 18W in jeans, so purchased a 16W & 18W since it's recommended to size down in NYDJ. Not sure how they can recommend sizing down! Couldn't get the 16W on and the 18W fit but felt like I was in a straight jacket. Not to mention the jeans are very long, need to offer petite sizes in this brand. However after checking the NYDJ site for sizing, it appears petite would be too short. The jeans are well made and I liked the dark rinse but not sure if I have the body type for this brand jeans. Would only recommend with reservations.
Love the weight and color of the denim. They’re made to last a lifetime, but are exceptionally long. I’m going to have them hemmed but wish they came in a shorter length. The waist is too tight so order up if you’re not an hourglass shape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a 5'9" tall plus gal with curves (smaller waist than chest and hips). The NYDJ Marilyn style jean is one of my wardrobe staples because the length is perfect for flats or heels, and the high waist doesn't leave a gaping opening in the back like so many other jeans do. I've been waiting to add a light wash blue jean to my collection, and the price was right.
