These outdoor glasses are thick and heavy. They seem like they'll stand up pretty well against a light wind, and I'm not worried about them breaking if dropped. They're pricey for outdoor tableware but I have never before seen such high quality. I've sent mine through the dishwasher (upper rack) with no problems. They are so thick that the clear material appears slightly grayish in indoor lighting. They have a texture (fine lines) on the outside of the glass--not smooth and shiny--so they won't look scratched as they age. They are labeled as tritan. My other tritan kitchenware doesn't absorb colors or odors and goes through the dishwasher beautifully.

These are about twice as expensive as I would like, but I think they're going to be worth it. Time will tell, but I think these will last for years, unlike almost every other acrylic glass. Thick acrylic, they look great, and have a finely sanded texture to them. They also don't break when dropped, and the stack of 4 is just under 11 inches when nested (10 3/4 inches high), so one stack of four fits in one spot on a 12-inch-high cabinet shelf. I think they're a little too proud of these price-wise, but honestly I can't say anything bad about them, other than I wish they were less expensive. We would have eight of these instead of four if they were less expensive, and that would make them perfect.
