The light strip is not the longest, but we knew we wanted to put it around his tv. He was beyond thrilled to see the color changing lights. He uses his tv for games and the lights did not interfere. The colors can react to sound from movies or music. It works up to 26 ft away with a remote as well. You can change the brightness so it won't hurt your eyes. It comes with self adhesives so you can just stick it anywhere.
