Very good resolution and imaging but depending on how you use autofocus it could be a little too slow for you. Using limited focussing range by setting the slider so it does not cover the entire range of ditances from close up to infinity helps a lot. As a standard lens it is light and very useful. As a macro lens it works well but be prepared to get up close to your subject.
it helps when there's a macro. you don't know when you'll need it. good for photography but not necessary a great one for video as there's noise during focusing. Wished it was a F1.8 lens though.
Nice little lens great results and very well built.
At 50mm this doubles as a normal lens, plus the field of view makes shooting down on the ground stuff very doable. As opposed to the 70 & 90mm close ups on the market which don't have a usable field of view shooting straight down.
Good lens. Versatile albeit slow to focus... but that is expected of a Macro Lens.
Very versatile lens and great image quality. Macro handheld is challenging with shaky hands. This lens also trains your photography eye and positioning for the best outcome. I find using this lens in MF is very easy to use and smooth operation. Great for portrait and macro with fast hands for moving subject.
had this for a month I do it for tattoo shoots and it is just perfect for the job. crystal clear pictures
I brought this lens recently and I am finding my way with it . I found it is best left on AFA other wise the lens keeps hunting to focus unless you use manual focus. I must say it take’s some great photos it works best at 0 to 3 meters or full its a great lens and i am very pleased with it . My camera is a A6500 .
I am a total beginner and am happy with what i could capture with this lens.
Sharp and easy control. Can zoom by using remote wireless shutter. Great price and great product. Enjoy very much.
