This topper made a real difference on our king bed. It's a two-part design – a 2-inch plush fiberfill pillow top over 2 inches of memory foam – so you get the soft, cushioned feel on top with real support underneath, instead of just sinking into foam. Pressure points that used to bother me, shoulders and hips are noticeably better. The quilted cover is a smart touch: it's removable and machine washable, and it stretches to fit deep mattresses, so it stays put without shifting around at night. The cover also uses rayon made from bamboo, which sleeps cool and soft. Setup was simple. It arrives vacuum-packed in a box; I unrolled it, let it expand and it was ready to use the same day. As with most new products that have been vacuum sealed, it had a slight smell that disappears quickly. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified and it comes with a 10-year limited warranty, which gave me confidence buying it. After 4 weeks of use it still feels the same. I have another one, on another bed I bought 10 years ago that is still in great shape and comfortable. If your mattress is too firm or just past its prime, this is a much cheaper fix than a new mattress. Highly recommend.
