I absolutely love these grinders! I spent a long time researching before buying them because there weren’t many detailed reviews, so I hope this helps someone else. The first thing that surprised me was the size. They are much larger and more substantial than I expected. They have a premium feel, are beautifully made, and are heavy enough to feel very stable while using them. Another feature I really appreciate is the adjustable grind setting. It’s very easy to switch between finer and coarser grinds depending on what you’re cooking, and the mechanism feels smooth and high quality. Of course, they’re gorgeous on the countertop, but they are much more than just decorative pieces. They feel like products that will last for many years. I’m genuinely in love with them and have absolutely no regrets about this purchase.

These are beautiful and nice weight but the wood top doesn't screw on to the base tight enough to prevent salt/pepper from falling out on the table. You need to use them carefully, so not exactly guest/party friendly.

The salt and pepper mills are pretty. I bought the Oyster color to go with the rest of my Le Creuset items. Unfortunately, the construction of the tops is seriously flawed. The first time I removed the wooden top to refill the peppercorns, the top no longer screwed tightly onto the base resulting in a full mill of peppercorns pouring out all over the dinner table with the first twist of the mill! As much as I tried to replace the top securely, the plastic threads would not hold causing the entire top to repeatedly come off with the first twist. I'm on a very long hold with Le Creuset as I write this review hoping for a resolution. Hold time has now been 12 minutes. I will wait for another 3. Highly disappointed. Not what I would have expected from this company.
