Still don't soften up after multiple washes, but it's fine to have as a backup, and I have even used it to put up in a stroller seat or car seat. The colors match most of the nursery decor and are gender neutral. The Snoopy plush is small, cute, cuddly, and soft. Looks exactly alike.
