The ornative flatware is as attractive as it is on the internet. It is well balanced and has no sharp edges.

Maybe I got a different batch from the reviewers?
I went into this purchase hopeful because the other reviews mentioned "sturdy" and smooth. To be fair, I'm not sure if I just got a different batch then all of the other [professional] reviewers but I did not find this set to be either sturdy or smooth. My first try with the large spoon bent it in half. I was able to bend it back the other way pretty easily but now it is a different shape and different curvature from the other ones. The end of the large spoon also was not smooth, it has a very defined edge and was not comfortable. I had very high hopes in this set - I liked the style, I liked the line's name (Percival), and I purchased two sets. I have to say I was disappointed. Glad I was able to return both sets for a full refund.
