Frye Мужские кожаные ботинки Tyler Flex Chelsea

I ordered these boots in antique black with confidence given that I have multiple pairs of Frye boots, I know my size, and have had great experiences in the past. This time is not reflective of that. For one the boots are terrible. they look and feel cheap. The antique black looks terribly manufactured, and I would comment on the fit if I could pull them on but the pull tab is so small it is unusable. But the worst part of all of this is is have to pay to return these subpar boots. Au Revoir Frye, you had a good run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original order was the antique black, but they are more brown than black and look nothing like the pics in the online store. Super bummer. Was hoping it would translate but it didn't. And if you say "that's what they look like after 5 years, then I'll f that". I returned those cause I didn't like the color and they were a little big. On the second try, I went with the black (vintage leather). Not real happy with the finish or look of those either, but maybe they will get better over time. All in, not real happy, and not my fave pair of boots that I was hoping they'd become, but hopeful they wear into something positive. Not sure I'd buy another pair.

Beautiful boots. Elevate a casual look, or ground a fancier look with well-made practicality. So happy with these.

Nearly impossible to put the boot on. The stretch opening is too small and I had to put on thin Sox's to put on. The loop at back of boot was so small I could only get my little finger in it to assist on a size 12 no less, duh. Foot bed was uncomfortable on the one boot I struggled into. They did have a sole design for winter grip in snow, but I couldn’t wear warm socks and get them on. They looked good in the box for all the good that did.

For the price, I expected a better quality boot. It wasn’t that comfortable, and felt a little flimsy for the price. Maybe my expectations were wrong. Also the shape was not quite right – Chelsea boot should look a little dressed up, but it looked a little like a rain boot. I’m not sure why it had that look, but it did.
