Absolutely Best of the Best. Long length protects down to the lowest part of your ankles/top of ypur shoes or boots. Double protection with both a zip in and buttons all tbe way up this incredible coat. I live in Chicago and have now walked tbe city in this coat during snowstorms and in excessively frigid temperatures - I am as warm and cozy and comfortable as can be in this powerhouse. Quality throughout is exemplary. They machine wash and dry beautifully. My wardrobe consists of navy, black, and grey. Last year they offered the grey colored coat and I bought it as well the black and navy colored coats. Love all of them. So much so that while on sale I decided to purchase extras (one of each color) just as back-ups since this is the perfrct coat for me and I am immensely picky 🤓. Boight the black and the navy cored coats snd would hsve purchaed the grey colored coat as well had they offered it (it either was not available or perhaps fully sold out). Why be cold when I can be cute! Just went birding in style and comfort. I'm 5'7 and it hits just below my calf. Love that! Wish I went maxi coat years ago!! Now I'll be outside all winter. I wear a thin jacket underneath if I'm going to be active so the fabric doesn't make me sweat. But 10 pts for cozy. Only thing I wish it had was a snap or two for quick closure. Haven't tried the two way zip yet. LOVE side zips. Want something thin enough to wear while driving but long enough to sit on a log in the woods in freezing temps? This is that coat.

My coat is warm, which is exactly what I expected from Lands' End. Quality is everything.

I really like this coat including the long almost to my ankles length. I think that it will keep me warm. What I do NOT alike is that I ordered a tobacco brown color and received a black coat. I called Macy’s customer service on the same day that my coat was delivered. They reached out to Land’s End asking them to contact me about anything that can be done to correct this. I have not heard back from Land’s End at all. I am being mailed a return label and may have to return this coat.

The extra large fit perfectly. The only reason i sent it back was because it was cutting into my arm pits. The two x-lrg gives me the room in my arm pit has a bit of room incase I wanted to wear a sweater as well. I won't beed one. As this coat is supper warm.
