Moccamaster KBGV Select стеклянная кофеварка

I have used Bonavita for years, have been very happy with the brand. But my machine began leaking and was not repairable. I decided for the KBGV Select. I have been reading its rave reviews for sometime.I fell for the beautiful design and it was my birthday, so decided to treat myself. The machine is beautiful. My disappointment is the coffee is not hot enough and it does not taste any better than my Bonavita. I am not a fanatic. I grind my own beans, store them in a tight, dark container in a dark, dry place. I use filtered, cold water. The difference between the two is the head - Bonavita's is round, all the grounds are moistened simultaneously. KBGVS' is linear so you have to stir the grounds to insure all are moistened before the brewing starts - you have 30 secs or there is an over flow. I should have done more research. I fell for a pretty face, but not getting a better tasting cup of coffee. Actually the Bonavita tasted better, was less work to get a hot cup of coffee.

Poor quality item. All plastic. Very cheaply made for price. Sent back before used.

Gave as a gift because recipient loved my Moccamaster coffee. They love it! Makes outstanding coffee with remarkable speed. Wonderful flavor without bitterness.

The Moccamaster itself is great, but my experience with Macy’s was terrible. I paid for Express Delivery, and after the item shipped, it still took over a week to arrive. Macy’s sent it by ground, and the tracking showed the package moving before it sat for several days. I tried to get a refund for the Express Delivery I did not receive, but the AI chat just ran me in circles, and calling customer service was no better. The reps seemed uninterested in helping, and there was always an excuse ready — including being told that express shipping starts once the item ships, even though I already had tracking from Macy’s and UPS showing the delay after shipment. I’m happy with the product, but very disappointed with Macy’s shipping and customer service. I simply wanted a refund for Express Delivery that was not delivered.

We were sick and tired of spending money on coffee makers that only last 1-2 years. Even supposed expensive brand name ones didn't last. After reading the phenomenal reviews we decided to splurge and try the mocchamaster. We love it!! We also bought an oxo burr grinder and got rid of the blade grinder. We can taste the difference. If you're considering purchasing this brand you won't regret it. It will eventually pay for itself when you stop buying the disposable coffee makers.

Better tasting coffee. Will pay for it's self in a couple of years since I won't have to ever buy another coffee maker again!

Extremely easy to use. Very quick process. Visually Stunning. Worth the extra cash.

First Moccamaster arrived broken. Replacement arrived - a dirty, used Moccamaster. We believe in the Moccamaster, but won’t try again at Macys.
