This model works great for holding 3D filament rolls. 4 fit perfectly. 5 if one is laid on top of the other 4, but you have to shake the container for it to sit just right to close the lid.

Good container that seals. I bought it to contain my garden insecticides for storage in the basement as an added level of protection to prevent the odours escaping and it appears to be working. Careful how you lock the latches though. I tried doing it with one hand (other hand was full) and stressed the latch enough that one of the latch pins that holds the latch in place broke. Sterilite was great though and shipped me 2 replacements for free. That’s the kind of company I will continue to purchase from.

I bought this a couple years ago and it looks brand new. Perfect quality. So much fits in there and I love the extra security of the top, it doesn’t open by any mistake like many other cheap brands do. SIMPLY THE BEST!

I would recommend this product if you are going to fill it with items and put in in storage, not opening it for months or years. But they promote it as good for pet food storage so it should be able to withstand at least one a day opening and closing. Within a month or two, the latches break off because the nubs are too short. So since I can't afford to buy more I have to weight the bins with something else to ensure bugs leave dog food alone. Otherwise I love Sterilite products and if you are only opening these once or twice a year they may be fine. The foam seal rips easily also. I see many people having the same issues and so I question why this defect hasn't been addressed or the price drastically lowered. For how long they last, they should be less than 50% of the price.

These sterilite gasket bins have spoiled me. Because they latch so well on each side I feel like I can put anything in them and they will be safe. The gasket keeps it so that there’s no dust bugs or moisture getting in these bins. I feel safe putting these bins in my garage, even with delicate items like bedding. Well done!

Purchased this item a couple of months ago to use as storage for live feeder crickets (grandson has a lizard). I used a Dremel wheel to cut ventilation slits on the lid and around all sides. I also used a small drill bit to modify the box and lid for ventilation. It's super easy to clean-out and the crickets seem to do pretty well. There's not a lot of complaints from them because they know what happens to whiners. :-) The lid latches very securely and the container is easily moved around.

I had it for a couple years and the seal still food as new, I storage my dogs food here and it keeps it fresh for a long time. Best pet dry food storage that you could find.

I've had this for years. The lid is as tight as it was on day one. I've used it for a lot of purposes, but most recently as storage for ankle height boots. I can see inside but it's still away, protected and stackable.

Great product. It has tight seal and is sturdy. We use to store first aid items, toiletries, and have used them to pack and stack items to travel distances.
