I live in Florida, so humidity is a constant battle, I don’t use heat tools, styling products or color my hair for reference—really only just shampoo and conditioner. I tried Restore because I was dealing with some breakage and shedding. I noticed less shedding with this formula. The PHD line made my hair feel stringy (I think that one is better for someone who uses products or has an oily scalp) and this one felt more gentle and didn't give my hair that overly clean feeling. . . which was a big improvement. Of the three types I tried—PHD, Restore, and No Frizz—Restore was the middle ground. Not as clarifying as PHD, but not as smoothing as No Frizz, a good option if your hair needs repair and gentle care.
