This dress is smaller than standard size. It is also physically very heavy to wear. I was surprised by the weight. Having said all that—it is beautiful and looks the same as the photo. It is excellent quality and I will be happy to wear it for the special occasions I have coming up.
The green color is gorgeous and the dress is beautifully made. Perhaps order one size up for the dress. What I did not like the dangling beads. They were too much. On the picture I thought they were just from the end of the dress but when I got the dress I saw that they start at the hip and go all the way down. In my opinion, they were too much especially that the dress is already med beaded all over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful evening dress. Typically I wear a 10R or 12P (5'4", 160 lbs.) I ordered this in a 12 hoping the length would be longer and I could get away with it. I needed a long formal dress for a Fall black tie wedding, and the length was actually perfect in that respect. Fit beautifully through the lower body, but the top was way too big (I'm a 36C). I would have kept it anyway because it really is beautiful, but the weight of the embellishments pulled it down to an awkward place for the dress neckline to hit on my collarbone. I didn't want to have the top altered because that wouldn't have changed the weight problem. Sadly, I had to return this item.
