[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dress itself is beautiful. The fit was completely off- I measured myself and ordered based on the size chart but the waist was tight and the bust area was very large. Sadly, had to return it.

This gown was for my 50th birthday outing. I never got so many compliments on a gown outside of my wedding gown before. Not that compliments are the only barometer here - I also FELT wonderful. It's a stunningly gorgeous gown and I need to invent another reason to wear it again. I did not experience the jewels and pearls falling off as others have mentioned - but I was at a show in NYC, not a wedding dancing. It's a gorgeous gorgeous gown.

I haven’t worn it out yet, but I tried it on and it fits perfectly. My husband was practically speechless when I showed him, but managed to eke out an “wow”. And on top of that, it’s COMFORTABLE. If you’re on the fence I get it — it’s not cheap. IMO this dress is worth every penny.

The dress was beautiful, however the beading was detaching from the dress as the night progressed.

I didn’t really want a black dress, but I figured that the sparkle of the pearls and the stones in the chains would balance out the black — and I was right! This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never in my life received so many compliments! I think the bust area runs a bit large — it feels like a 36C. That’s the part I had to alter, along with hemming the length. It was well worth it!

I purchased this gown for my daughter‘s wedding because her theme is seashells and pearls. I wasn’t looking at black gowns, but that is the color she has chosen for the bridesmaids, so I felt comfortable going with it. And actually, black was the traditional color for brides in the U.S. before white became the norm. The wedding is not until February, but I’m sure I will look fabulous with some minor alterations and a hem.

I wore this dress to a 125th Anniversary gala. It was a perfect mix of glamour for the night. I received multiple compliments and felt beautiful wearing it. The back is an unexpected twist that compliments mermaid flair. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind dress this is it.

I bought this dress for my son's black-tie New Orleans wedding last month and this dress was absolutely STUNNING! I felt so glamorous in this gown plus I added black opera gloves which made it perfect for a night black-tie wedding. I also had the dress hemmed to be 3/4" inch shorter than my shoes so the dress flowed gracefully across the floor and I didn't need to worry about tripping on my dress! It also flowed beautifully during our Mother/Son dance that included a lot of twirling!
