I own many cashmere sweaters. This is not cashmere. It’s a soft but substantial wool, not quite as precious as cashmere. It’s more like a chilly day at the coast, tucked into a generous warm wrap. But not too warm. The neckline is gorgeous and flattering. I’m 5’6”, 130lb, average bust. The medium is perfect but roomy. Room enough for a tee underneath. Arms are long, in a good way. Generous but not over my hands. I got the Icelandic blue. It’s Marled ocean blue with just the very faintest hint of teal, but not teal.

I knew getting the right size would be tricky but was assured that my usual size 10 would warrant a Medium. When it arrived, I first noticed the incredible color. When I put it on it felt more like a loose sweatshirt than sweater. The arms were about 8 inches longer than necessary but I'm only 5 ft tall. The length was also long on me. The arms are also wide all the way down. I ordered a Small and am still waiting for it. The material is definitely wool but is soft. It will provide way more warmth than my cotton sweaters. The collar can be adjusted to one's preference. I hope the Small will fit more trim on me. I really like this sweater.
