It was a perfect shoe to provide all day comfort. I don't have plantar fasciitis, but I wanted a comfy shoe I could walk around all day in for this vacation. I wear either 11.5 D or 11 E (wide) and the 11.5 in this shoe fit perfectly. On one day of the trip, I got the shoe dirty during the day, and it cleaned up really easy with a sneaker sponge, including the white base area of the shoe. It cleans up much nicer than other white shoes I have bought from Dr. Sholl's. I have now tried this shoe, Catch Thrills, and Time Off, and this one is my favorite, and totally worth the extra price for the comfort, fit, and style.
