[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a hiking pant with no buttons or snaps to fasten them. Finally a pair of pants that are stretchy and comfortable in the waist. I'm a 6-8 in pants and usually buy medium, but I needed a small with these pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are exactly what I was looking for, very neat and clean cut. Very sleek to wear. I am 5’3. 5” 138 pounds and medium fit perfectly. The length was a bit long but my hiking boots will resolve that issue. Light, easily packable by rolling up for my Yellowstone vacation. Will be good for rain, drizzly days, easy to care for too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pants are are good quality zip off with a more slim/snug fit & runs long ( im 5ft 1 inches) i prefer convert pnts i can throw a base layer under when needed. They are made well, maybe size up. . Im sending back as my curvy body type and preference for less slim fit. for me the snug fit is uncomfortable, I do not wear yoga pants,and tgese are not that body hugging but if you prefer a more slim fit tgese are for you. . . convert pants tend to run snug or too baggy. . . loking for that happy medium!

I like that they can be shorts but the place where you separate the legs from shorts Are tight when sit down. I don’t have hugh thighs I like the lightweight fabric. So I’ll wear them but not buy another pair.

I just received my Free Country hiking pants, and I really am happy with them. I have been looking for pants that zipped off to leave shorts, and these really fit the bill. They fit comfortably, neither too tight or too loose. I am 5-8, 150lbs., and medium seems right. I haven’t actually gone out in them yet, but I have high hopes.

Elastic on waist is not good!!

I’m really happy with this pants! I bought a medium and it comfortably wraps around my waist and hips. It doesn’t feel tight on the buttocks which is my preference. It allows for comfortable movements. The material is light which is ideal for me because I’m counting the weight of what I carry on my pack. The length fits my preference as well. The hem rests over my shoe with a single fold. I’m so happy with this pants that I bought another pair with a different color! I hope it will hold up to the demands of a 30 days Camino in Spain. For size reference, I’m 5’5 in height with a high hip of 38 inches.

I am in the process of losing 5-10 lbs, so these work for me. However, for a loose fit, size up. I am 5'2 and weigh 155. I ordered medium. I am satisfied with the overall purchase.
