I got the Salmon Sisters 15" Legacy Boot years ago to wear almost daily on my farm and I have loved them. But I wanted a shorter, and hopefully cooler, boot to wear during the summer. I was worried about the durability based on some reviews but so far, so good. My main complaint is that my foot is a half size and so ordering up means the boot feels a bit loose and floppy on my foot. Not like it'll come off, but it's like the difference between clogs and sneakers. I don't want to run in clogs, or maybe even walk fast. Same here. I might buy an insole to give it a little arch support and take up some of the space in the boot to make it a bit more fitted feeling. I realize that might negatively impact my goal of having cooler summer farm footwear, though.

Overall I'm happy with the boot, just wish they came in half sizes. The nine is too small and the 10 is too large. 9.5 would be a good fit I'm sure. Had to go with 10 and it's a little sloppy and my heel raises a bit.
I absolutely adored these boots until they fell apart. I loved the vintage color combo, the height and ease of getting them off and on. I live in the PNW and get outside with my dogs rain or shine and there is lots of rain. These boots kept my feet dry. But they lasted just over one year of use. The upper part of the boot cracked around the toe box and water gets into the boot now.
Love love love my Vintage! Cute enough to go to town on a rainy day! Nice to have dry feet during our wild weather here on Kauai!!

I slip these boots on to go anywhere. rain or not, they are so comfortable and so very easy to slip on and go. i’ve had them a while and no leaks. very worth the price

I wear these everyday. Rain or shine. They’re perfect for playing outdoors with the kids or taking the dogs out in the morning if the lawn is covered in dew. I cannot wait to plant my garden in them.
