Maggy London Женский Printed Voile Sleeveless A-Line Dress

Perfectly versatile summer dress, richly colored floral print in an airy voile fabric. I was looking for a floral without a white background. I've always considered Maggie London dresses classic and higher quality, pleasantly surprised Macy's carries them. The well sewn figure flattering A-line drapes gently from a slightly higher than natural waist, fully lined. I plan to wear to a summer wedding, dressed up with the organza shrug from Adrienne Pappelle (also sold at Macy's) in Champagne color. Think it could also be worn with an orange or magenta cummerbund to highlight the waistline. The dress looks better with a wide belt or something to accentuate the waist due the longer A-line length. Just a couple of possible downsides. Wish it came in a petite as the dress is a little longer than tea length for me (5'4"). The armholes were cut big. Luckily that was remedied easily by shortening the straps an inch. More dress makers are cutting the material to economize, so the floral pattern is not perfectly matched. I loved the beautiful rich colors, so I overlooked it. I was disappointed the Macy's store that shipped dress did not carefully wrap it, arriving folded in a small 8x11 package, unlike other dresses I've had shipped that arrived in garment bags and boxed. That aside, I was very pleased with this purchase.

The size was not accurate

I like the style and comfort but the top of the dress did not fit well. The straps are not adjustable so it would need to be altered. I'll be returning the dress for something different.
