True to size.Feels comfortable. Color is deep forest green. I bought it to wear to a formal wedding. My friend bought the same dress to wear to a wedding as well! Different weddings. The material can feel a bit rough but there is a slip underneath so the dress is comfortable to sit in and to move. It is not "over-ruched" and runs true to size I bought an 8 petite.
Good gown for formal event in the winter as the green is more cold weather green ie dark emerald or pine than a summer green. I’m 5.1 and I had to hem nearly 3 inches for wearing w 2” heels. Runs long and a bit small so sized up to 12P but still forgiving for busty figure. Thin but lined. Wearing black fabric evening shoes and bag to balance out the subtle sparkle of the gown’s fabric.
Beautiful dress, well made. Too bad it doesn't come in a petite size otherwise I would have kept it.
