As long as your purse is well-cared for (the company has their own leather cleaner. Overall, it is worth the money to have a beautiful and long lasting product. . You can be proud of!

I have beeen searching and searching for a real leather handbag from a good company so was very excited to find American Leather Co. I really like the storage compartments with the Auburn bag and the leather is so nice, very pretty. I do wish the handles/straps were different though. I like a crossbody style but find that the bag is a little wide to carry crossbody. So I took that strap off and use the short ones but it’s too short for on the shoulder and gets a little cumbersome trying to carry on my arm or hands. Also, I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and the binding is already coming off the seams. So that is rather disappointing but I would order again and try a different style down the road.

I purchased this bag because I loved the structured shape. The leather trim and overall look are beautiful, and I received several compliments when it was new. Unfortunately after only about a month of normal use, the bag lost much of the shape shown in the website photos. The front and back panels now collapse inward, giving it a much softer, slouched appearance than when purchased. Customer service was kind and responsive, but advised this is considered normal wear after a month and offered a discount on a future purchase rather than a replacement. If you love the structured look shown online, just know that it may soften much more quickly than you expect.

I love this crossbody bag! It has plenty of room for what I carry. Just perfect! Love the color and the inside is perfect! My friends love it too!

Sorry to say this but this purse is just too small for me. I will be returning this, unfortunately. I still love American Leather products and will purchase more in the future.
