I’m a big fan of Marmot coats and I was really excited to see Macy’s carry them. This jacket is really nice, it’s really well-made, zippers glide easily, great fit.

Great buy, super warm!

I bought this coat after I returned another down jacket that was just much too light. This jacket though is awesome! Although I will not be able to try it out till next winter, I can tell it feels like it will be very warm and I like the relaxed style on this. The zipper is nice and sturdy. Much better than what was on the lighter jacket. I have purchased quite a few Marmot coats in the past and I normally find them to fun small. But because this coat is a relaxed fit I went with my normal size and love the way it fits! Might be a tad tight if I am wearing really thick layers underneath but I think sizing up would be way too big. I suggest ordering your normal size with this coat. The steel onyx is a cool color!

They were warm, high-quality, and not very expensive. That was good. I spent several years in the warm climate of Germany. Now I've arrived in the US, in Indiana. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with the jacket. It’s warm without feeling bulky and the down insulation does a great job of keeping heat in on cold days. The fit is comfortable and with enough room to layer underneath, but still looks well structured. The zippers are sturdy and the outer fabric is durable and would hold up well to regular wear. I also appreciate the detail details like the roomie pockets and the hood which adds extra warmth. Overall, this jacket is a great balance between warmth, comfort, and durability.

It's not thick at all, so I was concerned that it wouldn't be very warm. She has been wearing it though throughout the winter and she says it keeps her really warm and that it's comfortable.
