Парфюмерия Dolce&Gabbana Sicily Re-Edition 3.3 oz

The review above mine is 100% accurate in my opinion. The scent does not last as long as the original, and it’s not quite the same. This was my favorite fragrance from the time it was released in 1999, so I know it well. I will not purchase this again. I can still find the original from various sources online for about the same price. I realize fragrances lose notes over time, and even the original—at this point—won’t resemble a truly fresh bottle since it’s well past its prime. Still, I’d rather have an expired bottle of the original than this version. I believe the patent was sold to P&G, and while the new “nose” made a respectable attempt, it ultimately falls short in my opinion.

I was really excited to finally find Dolce and Gabbana Masculine. The scent itself is very pleasant at first, fresh and classic, and it brings back that timeless Dolce and Gabbana style. I had been looking for this particular fragrance for years after it was removed and then brought back, which made the purchase even more exciting. Unfortunately, my excitement didn’t last long. The biggest disappointment is the longevity. The aroma fades extremely quickly, within a very short time after application, and becomes almost unnoticeable. For a fragrance at this price point, I expected much better performance and staying power. Overall, while the scent profile is nice, the lack of longevity makes it hard to recommend. I was hoping for a longer-lasting experience, but sadly this one did not meet my expectations.
