This is a great classic black dress-the beauty is in its simplicity. A thin band around the waistline gives it a little form and shape to keep it from being boxy. I found the fit to be good and true to size. Recommended.

I wanted to wear red to a patriotic organization meeting.

This dress is lovely, but I didn't realize that it has a seam at the waist, which I didn't care for. The other problem is that it has cuffed sleeves, which make it harder to wear under a jacket or sweater. The fabric is nice and the color right on. I'm sure it would be comfortable, if you don't mind the waist and sleeves issues I had.
