I couldn't be more disappointed in the mount. Do not use it with the handlebar mount if you want to go over 20 MPH cuz it folds back. You can't tighten the ball mount itself. Trying to mount it on a Harley with 16" bars that of course dry back and down a little bit. . . useless. .
I bought this swivel to orient my camera on a Specialized bicycle with its typical dimensioned bicycle handlebar in a horizontal / vertical XYZ-orientation. Plus that it allows for easy click off the camera when I step down for a coffee, while retaining the set orientation. But the swivel doesn't stand the strong vibrations typical for MTB biking, but even not on the Dutch bicycle lanes and tracks. The camera after a while orients itself to picture the clouds, which is not in my interests. It seems to me that de design of this swivel lacks a screw or something to fix a set orientation. I therefore recommend the manufacturer to redesign this swivel that it can be fixed, in the same way as in photography a ball head on a tripod.
For what ever reason these break very easily. For such a price they should not. The prongs that hold the mount in the hardness break. One or both break. Very very junky. Other wise it works well but they will without a doubt break. I am now looking for an alternative.
This binding's super strong. Handy, and intuitive. But the best part's that it rotates 360°. In some activities it's very useful, practical.
Perfect for making adjustments and using in odd positions.
Cansado de probar otras opciones, sabes que al final, si quieres calidad tienes que ir al original. Es lo más barato. Compras una vez. Si no, acaba comprando el barato y el caro.
I've had the GoPro ball swivel for quite awhile, it's my second purchase bcoz the first one broke at the mount and I just needed to replace it bcoz it's very useful
Recently received this product and found it to be unusable. Could not turn it at all unless using a lot of force. Tried using WD40 to loosen it up. The only thing it did was allow it to unscrew from the base. I admit it needs to be tight but you could not mount it to the mount and swivel it without breaking the mount. I am returning this and would not recommend buying it. The idea was great but the development was lacking
Built like any other GoPro mount. Only thing that isn't great is how stuff it is. Now I get it, it's mounting an action camera, but it's pretty tough to turn.
1st of all it was tight to turn to view other angles. 2nd in the wind it blew the go pro upwards. There for, NO good videos except for the sky.
