I’ve been wearing Land’s End cashmere turtlenecks for years…love them…recently bought another black one and noticed that, while it’s still good, it is skimpier, I guess you would say, than earlier sweaters. It also isn’t as soft…just lower quality than my earlier purchases…and I have at least 20.
I bought this for my husband who is very picky about his turtlenecks. He loves it! The deep blue color is gorgeous, it fits well, and the weight is perfect (not too thin).
Bought as a present and it's been appreciated by the recipient.
A little thin as compared to others my son has purchased. He wasn't happy this time but kept the sweater anyway.

My winter/fall wardrobe is black cashmere turtleneck and jeans. I live in this combo from October/November thru March. I have numerous cashmere turtlenecks - formal ones and more informal ones. I now have five from Lands' End. They are simply great. They are my standard informal and work turtleneck - they have worn well thus far, but I do take care of cashmere collection - they all get washed after three wears and and they are never in a dryer. So far so good and the best value for money I have found. I do think their sizing is a bit off - the medium is a bit big for me - I am a pretty standard medium - but I do not want chance a small. Overall extremely happy - and for now they rival some of my more expensive ones.
In the past, a sweater like this would first be made better for the cost. Not just a 2 ply, but 4 to 6 ply from a known Company. I would look to other brand names before going with this sweater. Quality is foremost always first when paying for anything costly.
I wanted an authentic sweater and found what I wanted. It is perfect.
This is 2-ply yarn, so it’s not as thick as their old 3-ply sweaters, which LE discontinued. However: I have a very long torso and moderately long arms, so needed the incomparable warmth of cashmere to block the wind from my coats in 2021. I bought 3 of these turtlenecks to put next to my skin. They are wearing well, but I needed to buy a larger size this year. I hand wash and block my cashmere to keep it from shrinking, fading or stretching out. These are high quality sweaters. Btw, the dark red is a cool color; more purple than red.
I bought this for my partner. He looks fabulous in it!
