The Lewis Venetian loafer that was delivered was a horrible dark brown. I had ordered the cognac loafers in January and got the same horrible color. Frye insisted this is a variation of dying process. I returned both of these shoes. As quality not as expected.
The color of the shoes displayed on the Macy's site was not the color I received. I only purchased from Macy's to get this particular color. The color I was shipped could have been purchased directly from Frye for $50 less. Obviously, Macy's does not update their site with the current description and images of the products they are selling. Very disappointed. Will not be able to shop with Macy's online if I can't rely on accurate descriptions of products.
I was sent the wrong color. The shoe on the Macy's site is tan the shoes I received are antique tan - totally different color and finish. I could have purchased the color they sent me anywhere for 30% less, but paid premium to Macy's to get the correct color- and paid expedited shipping. Very disappointed with Macy's.
Love the color. Very comfortable. Great craftsman ships with soft and supple leather.

Good looking - seem well made in Mexico. My second pair of Frye loafers. I bought them 1/2 size smaller than usual so they would stretch out. Happy so far,,,
This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 7 years. The comfort and quality of the Frye shoes is unbelievable. They go with everything from jeans to dress pants. I am a Frye customer for life. Thank you for making such great footwear.
Run narrow and small, recommend they have option for wide sizes.
Have two pair of these loafers and really enjoy them. My first pair went through a monsoon at last year’s KY Derby and for some reason the water changed the toe box on both pair…. bought another pair and don’t wear them in the rain. Back to grandsons >>>. They both have lace-up and not many loafers…. now they do and they really like the Frye shoes…so do my grand daughters and the Frye boots / booties.
Love these slip ons… Have had several pairs over the years. Great look with jeans or casual pants (khakis)
