This fabric is terrible. I wore it on a weekend away. The fabric pulled and looked like trash before I even washed it.

The reason for the low rating is for the online issues trying to get the correct item. I love the solid black cover up and would highly recommend it, but good luck ordering online. I purchased this J Valdi solid black cover up in the Macy's store (UPC 51774480130). I wanted another for my daughter but they didn't have another small, so I went online, typed in the UPC number and ordered the same black cover up. When the order came, it was a black mesh cover up with UPC 51174493260). I returned the mesh cover up to Macy's and explained the situation to the sales clerk. She saw for herself that these 2 UPC numbers pointed to the same item online. She carefully reordered using the correct UPC number and expedited shipping as we are leaving on vacation in 5 days. Item came today and it's still the black mesh coverup (UPC 51774480130). As of 06-23-26 these 2 UCPs still point to the same item. Come on Macy's please do better.

The color is not true to the picture. It is not hot pink or fuchsia. It also came with a few pulls of the fabric.

I purchased it as a gift and when I got home I folded it and wrapped it along with a bathing suit and when my stepdaughter opened her gift the whole back of it was snagged. It was embarrassing to hand a gift to her that i purchased in two days before. I know it’s my fault for not examining the entire cover up but the quality of this cover up can’t be that good to have that many snags on it.
