SL Fashions Платье Ball Gown Petite V-Neck

This gown is lovely, and I'm glad I ordered it. Mine is something of a mixed review. I ordered a size 8 and it's a bit too large in the waistline. And since I need the gown for an upcoming gala, I went ahead and ordered a size 6 and paid extra to get it here quicker. When the size 6 arrived, to my surprise - the whole dress is backward. In other words, the first size 8 gown had a V neck front and a neckline in the back that went almost all the way up to the neckline (covering the back mostly). The size 6 gown has a rather plunging V neck in the BACK of the gown and the front comes up to the collarbone. The pattern is flipped exactly. So I will be returning that one, as I specifically wanted to cover my back. I'm 5'4 and weigh 125 pounds, if that helps you decide your size. The dress itself is gorgeous satin material, looks much more expensive than it is. Very soft material, comfortable sleeves, beautifully made. It needed pressing. I'm keeping the size 8 and getting a belt or long satin sash to put around the waist.

This gown is absolutely gorgeous and very very flattering. Unfortunately, since I had to order it through the mail, it wasn’t quite the right size and it was long. I am 5 foot two and I ordered the petite size 10 and it hit the ground, barely in the back. I did return it and I ordered a size 8 regular length because that’s all they had and I will have. It altered to my length by a seamstress. There are three layers in this gown. One is the tulle. One is the gown itself, and then the lining. So very flattering for anyone with a smaller top and waist and larger bottom and thighs. It’s the gown for me so hopefully the size 8 will do it.

Dress fit very true to size. Caution! I saw this dress hung incorrectly in a store and it messes up the neckline since the material is very stretchy. The gown was the most comfortable one I have tried on.

I’m not a petite person but since the regular sized reviews stated that it is too long, I ordered a petite in my size and it was peeerfect in length but I had to return it because the waistline and back was too tight. I am reordering again a size larger and I hope that it will be just right!

I love the dress; nicely made, nice sale price. I had to return one that didn't fit and order a new size and Macy's customer service was first rate for that process.

I ordered a petite gown because I had no time for alterations, and this dress was way too long for Petite. Had to return.

Aside from the drama of the slightly tulled ombre skirt, the top is a form fitting and adds to the gown looking chic and balanced. So many compliments!
