I had to return the bag. I loved the bag, but it was too big. If it was around 8/1. 2h x10/1. 2L x4w it would have been perfect. Maybe you could do a mini, like you did the Jamestown Tote. Love your purses!
Very quality bag
This was my first time purchasing from American Leather Co and will be a forever customer! The Jamestown Satchel is the perfect size and fits everything perfectly. The color is exactly how it shows on the website. So happy to have this bag.
I chose the Pool Blue color. It is very subtle. It’s more like an ice blue-gray color. It is very neural and will go with any outfit. I love the leather. The leather is extremely soft. Every detail is so well thought out. It is also extremely roomy inside.
Misleading representation. I ordered a Portland Leather Purse from Macy’s last week. When it arrived the design was completely different that the two other Jamestown Satchel purses l have purchased over the past three years. I love this particular design purse, so much so that l wanted a winter color purse the exact design. It was evident immediately this was not the case. The large size front pocket was glued shut, the leather lacked the smell and luster l had become accustomed to in my previous two purchases of this Jamestown Satchel purse. I can only assume, Macys sent me a fake Portland leather purse. Of course this purse will be returned. I’m very disappointed.
Has a very strong odor. Aired out for a week and is improving. Nice bag. Lacks structure on bottom. Sags. Sides are thin. Biggest plus is the light weight of the bag. Love that the interior is a light color and not a black hole! Very well made.
It's beautiful. Smells great. I love the smell of real leather. I wish the top handles were just a couple of inches bigger. Would you consider adding more storage to your bags?
