Sides of both shoes have cracked after 1 week of normal wear. This is the second pair of campers that I’ve owned that this has happened to.

I have had 6 pairs of the Andratx hightop shoes over a period of 7 years. The Andratx was my favorite shoe of all time. I would have bought more, but sadly the version of the Andratx that I like was discontinued. I don't like this latest version. The fabric is thin yet stiff. No leather, suede, or fabric options like I have had in the past. Padding on the upper has been removed, particularly around the ankle area where it meets your leg. There used to be a small padded area above the heel. Now the zipper has moved from the instep area to the back of the heel. This was a terrible design decision. Sure, the shoe is slightly easier to take on and off, but now it is significantly less comfortable. Combine that with the sub-par fabric and reduced comfort from less padding... oh and did I mention it's hard to get the right size because there are no half sizes? I have now bought 3 pairs of Camper shoes that I never wear because I can't get the size or comfort of the original Andratx design. Unless it comes back, I will not buy any more Camper shoes.
