I purchased the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 to pair with two PartyBox 320s. The setup was incredibly simple, and pairing it with the other JBL PartyBox speakers using Auracast took just a few seconds. Once connected, the speakers stayed in sync flawlessly, including the lights syncing across all three speakers! I purchased this for a large outdoor party, and the sound coverage was impressive. We were spread out across several acres and a garage, and the music carried well without losing clarity. The Encore Essential 2 was a great addition in the garage, where people could still carry on conversations while enjoying the music. The bass is powerful without overwhelming the vocals, and the overall sound quality is crisp and balanced across a wide range of music. The battery life was also excellent, it easily lasted throughout our event without needing to be recharged, one less thing... Whether you’re hosting a backyard gathering or a large indoor event, these speakers deliver. The combination of easy setup, excellent sound quality, long battery life, and seamless Auracast pairing makes the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 an outstanding value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a portable speaker with impressive performance.

Absolute belter of a speaker! Could not be happier

I was immediately smitten with this little speaker. It's not really little but it's also not huge. Nicely portable for those BBQs and back yard gatherings. Sounds fantastic inside and outside. Crisp clear sound and lots of bass to rock your world! The bass boost is a nice feature that always stays on my unit! If your on the fence about buying it just do it! You'll be grateful you did!

Had to buy two so it would play in stereo and it sounds amazing.

I saw, I wanted, I got, and I love it, the bass is so very good. I can use it in the house or the car, I can take it anywhere, and even my Mum loves the sound quality, it takes her back to the days when she would stand next to the huge speakers in a club. The battery life is also very good and I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my second JBL speaker. I have the Ultimate and I’m loving it. I bought this one to use for my pool since the Ultimate is too big and heavy to move around. I always love JBL and the quality of your speakers.

I recently bought the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 and I'm genuinely impressed. The loudness is excellent — it gets seriously loud with deep, punchy bass and clear sound that easily fills a large room without breaking up. Great power for its size. Battery life is strong too. I easily got about 12 hours on a full charge, which is perfect for long sessions. Connectivity was seamless. Bluetooth pairs instantly and holds a stable connection even if I move around. The lights add real atmosphere — they sync nicely with the music and bring good energy to the room without being distracting. Overall, it's a solid, fun speaker. Highly recommended if you're after big sound and portability.
