The towels look and feel great, and they accent our upgraded bathroom well. The reason for the mid-level review (3 stars) is that on the first wash, which we always perform prior to use, there are a few broken and loose threads, which may lead to further unraveling and potential holes. This remains to be seen, but does immediately affect the appearance. This is our first experience with the waffle type of bath towel, so don't know if this situation is common. We like the towels and are hoping they last and that their appearance is not impacted further. These towels are made in India, if that helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping this would match the description of soft but the material is actually quite thin and doesn’t absorb as much as I would have hoped. I do like the color though!
