I bought this bag for a trip. However, I use it all the time it is perfect for carrying practically anything. I was not sure how much I would like the backpack part of it, but turns out I use it the most! Would recommend to anyone wanting a great bag with hands free capabilities.
I bought this in April 2026, initially for work travel. I am so sorry I did not purchase one sooner! I absolutely love it for trips and day to day. Do it for yourself ladies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is close to the size of the personal shopper, smaller than the old Avenue tote. But I think it will prove much more practical for me. My purpose will be underseat personal item on overseas flights and general tote on river cruises. I always bring a tiny purse for certain events but this will be my main bag. From experience I know the various pockets and optional backpack feature will be perfect for travel. Quality is outstanding as usual!

Great quality like all Baggallini products I've purchased. I took this to a conference and was able to have not only my daily handbag items, but I was able to easily put in the various things from the conference - - folders, books, etc. with plenty of room to spare. I used the tote handles and the crossbody strap and both were comfortable. I don't anticipate ever using the backpack straps, but they hide away when not in use. I got the Thyme color which is very pretty and looks fall-ish.

I've carried it as a crossbody bag and it felt too heavy but the same amount of stuff (wallet, paperback, phone, digital notebook, laptop) barely felt like anything as a backpack. And the purple color is devine!
I bought this bag as a gift for my sister who has breast cancer. She needed a light weight bag to carry necessities with her when she went to all her appointments. She loves the bag. It is roomy but light weight enough for her to handle.
