I’d consider it not thin but not unnecessarily thick, just nicely medium weight. With the gold pin, it adds some flair and makes it feel Iike the design was intentional and tried to balance aesthetic and functionality. My only gripe is that there are no pockets. I was hoping there would be secret pockets inside, but there’s nothing on the inside or out. I’m generally wearing this in a professional office setting which works but I can see some people styling this for a chic night out on the town
